Is my child safe?

Extremely! All volunteers are required to have up-to-date Criminal Background and Child Abuse checks  to work with our kids.  We also have a Security Team that monitors the halls and there are emergency protocols in place.  At GBC, we use KidCheck which is a check-in system that prints two stickers. One goes on your child (we recommend putting it on their back) and the other one is kept by the parent/guardian. This must be shown in order to pick up your child at the end of the service.

Will my child learn truth?

Absolutely!  The curriculums we choose are Bible-centered. Your children will learn biblical truths each week as we learn stories and principles straight from the Bible.

 

Will my child have fun and feel welcome?

We work hard to create the most fun and welcoming spaces for your kids to learn, play and grow!  We are continually working to add engaging games, hands-on activities, music and more.  We strive to create an environment that will bring the Bible to life, promote teamwork, and make all kids feel included.

 

What if my child has a special need?

When enrolling your child in the KidCheck system there is a place to add any needs whether they be disabilities, allergies or even concerns you want to share with us.  The Director can access all of this information from her phone and will alert any volunteer interacting with your child.  Also, feel free to discuss any concerns you may have with the volunteers when you drop off your child, and we will do the best we can to accommodate them.
